Tomatoes can be divided into determinate (bush) tomatoes, that develop all fruit within a 7-10 day harvest period or indeterminate (vining) tomatoes which develop fruit progressively, so that harvest lasts several months.  Poseidon is an indeterminate variety that produces globe-shaped, 8-ounce pink fruits with a sweet flavour, requiring 78 days to mature.  Space 15 inches apart if supported or 36 inches apart if unsupported.
