Baptisia are the prairie cousins to the Lupins. They have a big root once established which means they don't like being moved around like other perennials, but if left in their spot will be long-lived beauties with few problems. 'Lemon Meringue' is a Proven Winner with upright foliage, spikes of lemon yellow flowers and contrasting dark stems. Sunny spots.
