Blueberry 'Northcountry'

Blueberry plants can be long lived. They  grow best in full sun with a well-drained, acidic, moist soil. Fewer flowers are produced in shadier spots. Fruit size and production is improved when two or more cultivars are planted together. A 4 year old bush may produce more than 400g of fruit. After fruiting, prune out any branches more than 4 years old, to ensure subsequent fruit production. 'Northcountry is a mid-to late season type that produces medium sized, sweet, mild fruit.
