Ficus microcarpa 'Moclame' Braid Tree

Forget the picky ficus of years gone by- those little leaves that dropped off if you looked at it the wrong way. Moclame will put up with your conditions a little better than the old benjamina. The small, glossy leaves have a lovely texture, the branches tend to form a rounded bush shape. Moclame will happily grow in bright, but not baking sun. Keep roots evenly moist while growing actively. You will enjoy its lushness all winter when you bring it in from the patio. The braided tree form would make a great specimen or an interesting thriller in a large planter.
