Hemerocallis are often called daylilies because the flower only lasts one day. Not lilies at all, the old cultivars only flowered for a short time, busy to make seed. The breeders have found some wonderful cultivars that bloom for a long time, or rebloom throughout the summer. Big plants, small plants, many colours, disease resistance and a tolerance for many garden conditions make Hemerocallis a must for the landscape. 'Catherine Woodbury' is a fragrant rebloomer with 15 cm blooms that are light pink with a lime green throat and slightly ruffled edges.
