Salvia nemerosa 'East Friesland'

The genus Salvia is one of the most important genera for pollinators. And lucky for us, there are many different ones to place in our landscape. "East Friesland' is a long time sunny border favourite. Dark purple flowers spikes in abundance blooming late spring through early summer supported by grey-green foliage. Perennial salvia should be pruned after flowering to encourage new foliage and flowers.
