SPRING FLOWERS AND TROPICALS AVAILABLE

Lavender Phenomenal

Welcome the unmistakable scent of lavender into your landscape, kitchen or winter sachets. There are many cultivars of lavender. They thrive in full sun with well draining soil. The flowers attract many pollinators. Most commonly known are English (Lavendula angustifolia), Spanish (L. stoechas), French (L.dentata) and a hybrid L.x intermedia. Within these are variations in hardiness, plant habit and flower colour.

English lavender is the classic starting point for the perennial border or kitchen garden. Hardiness can be a problem depending on the summer care and the type of winter. Best success is with good moisture but freely draining soils through the summer (think England) and winter protection.

'Phenomenol' is the hardiest of Lavender angustifolia. More tolerant of heat, humidity and more resistant to diseases. Saturated blue flowers.
