An old favourite from everyone's childhood, with the familiar drooping chains of pink hearts over a large, bushy mound of powdery green leaves. Excellent for cut flowers. The plant often goes dormant by summer, especially in our hot Ontario July, so be sure to plant something in front that will get bigger later in the season. Can be sheared to 6" right after flowering to rejuvenate foliage.
Bloom time May-June
Hardiness Zone 2
Please note: This picture shows what the plant may look like when more mature. At this time our plants may not look like this.
