This is the grass with the red tips that attracts attention everywhere. It is interesting, and grows in sun, and a bit of shade.
Please be aware: it does spread by rhizomes. Now perhaps not as insidiously as goutweed, but enough to make it on the invasive plant list in some states. So enjoy the red, enjoy its ability to fill a spot, but be cautious about not putting it next to a forest, and DO cut out the shoots that escape the spot you have given it. Be on the watch for the new shoots that revert back to plain green, and remove them.
